Dômes Pharma confirms its commitment to promoting the role of women in animal health by becoming the exclusive sponsor of the 4th edition of the “Mujeres Influyentes en Salud Animal y Veterinaria – Woman of the Year Award”, organised by Animal’s Health.
This is the first and only award in Spain dedicated to recognising female talent in the veterinary and animal health sectors.
The veterinary profession has been experiencing significant changes in recent years:
80% of veterinary students are now women
Only 28% of veterinarians under 35 are men
Despite this strong feminisation, leadership and governance positions are still largely held by men. The Mujeres Influyentes award, created to highlight female excellence in the sector, aims precisely to help break this glass ceiling.
The first three editions attracted more than 25,000 voters, making the award a recognised reference across the profession.
By supporting this initiative, Dômes Pharma reaffirms its longstanding commitment to equal opportunities and to highlighting inspiring career paths.

The award ceremony will take place in June in Madrid.
